The Fire Department is a combination fire department that provides fire protection in the City of Jennings. We also provide heavy rescue services, dive rescue services, and hazmat response services. We average approximately 80 calls per year with about 80% being medical and 20% being fire related. Our department is also responsible for the building inspector’s office, which includes the inspections of all commercial and residential construction in Jennings.
