The Jennings City Clerk of Court’s office has 3 different departments:
- Civil: Banks, finance companies, garnishments and loans between individuals come through the Clerk of Court’s office to file legal charges.
- Criminal: Misdemeanors and criminal charges at the city level are filed in the City Clerk of Court’s office.
- Traffic: City traffic and DWI tickets issued are handled through the City Clerk of Court’s office. Tickets may be paid at the Clerk’s office or online at www.quickcourt.biz/jennings.

Small Claims ($5,000 & Under)
Anyone may file in proper person.
Businesses may file in proper person.
Regular Docket ($5,001 – $30,000)
Anyone may file in proper person. Businesses must file through an attorney.
